Imagine

It's a question I ask you.

A thought that proceeds.
It's the time limit that catches every second.
It's the tears that swell upon my cheek.
It's the way I close my eyes,
And see so clearly.
It's not a mask to seal the truth.
It's a broken heart,
With many stitches.
A shattered mind,
With many questions.

Paper Airplane

Paper Airplane

When will I see a different view?
Flowers, with colorful bliss.
With untold secrets and nothing new.
I am opening the same door each and everyday.
The sweet aroma has turned sour.
Will it be enough to be the person I am today?
Does my heart need a transformation?
You push and shove.
And call that love.
I am tense. Confused. Lost. Hurt.
What is beauty now?

The dust accumulates.
I begin to fall.
Deep, Deep into a dark mysterious hole.
And you have found me, but here I crawl.
I need Your strength,
To follow in Your ways.
The candle wax has hardened.
The fire dies in a battle with the wind.
Like a paper airplane,

I am whisked into the sky.
I place my faith in You, dear Lord.
Take me and use me.
I feel a weakness,
It’s piercing into my flesh.
A hole in my heart,
It has been there for so long.
I want to see Your direction,
Follow Your lead.
In this world,
Temptation seems to succeed...

I see a girl with no hope inside.
Listening to such hateful screams.
She pours her heart into a disguise.
“Please love me”
She pleads.
Holding onto each tear.
Not who she used to be.
The reflection in the mirror.
No one hears her cry.
Not knowing You loved her,
For You did die.

I see a mother,
Walking the streets.
Feeling overwhelmed.
Grief strangling her thoughts.
No umbrella to shield her pain.
Losing a child, she feels insane.
“Where do I go?”
Her heart is melting,
Piece by piece.
Letting go of her precious child.
No future, but decease.
She looks to a pill.
Not knowing Your Will.

I see a couple.
A relationship held by strings.
She feels guilty.
Trapped inside with no key.
He tries to love her.
Never stops searching.
Trying to find that key.

Digging and digging,
He opens the door.
Only to see his lover,
Laying on the floor.
“Why did this happen?”
He joins her to never part.
Not knowing of Your suffering,
That came from Your heart.

So many words creeping into my heart.
“You’re not good enough”
That’s what I hear.
But, Lord, You died for me,
I must be good enough,
I feel You near.
Your breath on my shoulder.
“Follow in My ways”
Teach me.
I am Yours.
My life is Yours.
Like a paper airplane,

I will fly until the end of days.
You are the wind.
Guide me.....Messiah and Friend.
